Style Sessions with Urvi: Maggie Sottero "Leoni"

Out of all the wedding gown designers, I get the most requests for styling Maggie Sottero.  This week, my bride Raven presented me with the asymmetrical shoulder, A-line gown, Leoni.

Urvi Prunier, the designer behind Tejani Jewelry, has become BG's resident styling guru when it comes to tackling tough accessories questions. Last week, she advised on what to wear when your gown has a particularly high neckline. This week, though, BG focused on a major trend that doesn't seem to be going anywhere: the one-shoulder gown. This strapless, stretch-silk gown (from red-carpet favorite Nicole Miller) really screams “accessorize me!" I absolutely LOVE the simplicity and elegance; it lends itself to a variety of styling options. Plus, the asymmetrical ruffle gives this gown a very contemporary feeling. The bride really has so many different choices since there are no embellishments holding her back. per se. Because the gown gives the wearer so much freedom and flexibility, I'm offering up two different styling suggestions, because how you wear your dress is totally dependent on your personal style.
